Plans, seats, billing, and usage
Understand trials, seats, and organization-level access to the SpecMCP library.
Access and billing belong to the organization. The Billing page shows your organization’s plan, billing cycle, seats, renewal date, and tool-call usage.
Start for free
Every new account begins with a free trial: 100 tool calls, no credit card required, with full access to every scope and spec in the library. Use it to connect a tool and run a few real questions before subscribing.
When the trial is used up, an account keeps evaluation access: a small number of tool calls per day against a limited set of manually selected specs, without certification-scope scoping. Evaluation access is for trying SpecMCP, not for certification work. Subscribe when you need the full library or scope checklists.
Seats and subscription
A paid subscription is billed per seat, and each member who connects a tool needs a seat. A seat allows one concurrent MCP session: one active tool at a time for that user. If you connect a second device while the first is still active, SpecMCP asks you to retry the call to transfer the session to the new device. See Connection and sign-in troubleshooting if a tool reports that SpecMCP is active elsewhere.
Owners or administrators can subscribe, add seats, or open the billing portal from Billing → Manage billing to update payment details or subscription settings.
Usage
The Billing page shows your organization’s tool-call usage for the current period. If you expect access but do not have it, first confirm that you joined the correct organization and that its subscription is active. See Access and billing troubleshooting.
