How the SpecMCP GitHub App checks pull requests for regulatory impact.
The SpecMCP GitHub App reviews each pull request against your certification scopes and reports whether the change may affect a regulatory or certification requirement. It runs automatically when a pull request is opened or updated, investigates the change beyond the diff by reading related repository files, and posts its result as a check plus a concise comment.
The result is advisory. It highlights requirements worth a closer look and cites the specific gematik requirement, but a qualified person in your organization remains responsible for the final regulatory and certification assessment. Treat findings as a prompt to review, not as a certification result.
What it checks
- Pull requests in the repositories you connect, against the certification scopes you assign.
- The diff, the pull-request title and description, and the repository files the analysis needs to understand the change.
