Run a compliance check

Turn a feature or decision into a traceable requirement checklist.

Run a compliance check when you are planning a feature, reviewing an architecture decision, or writing a ticket. Describe the feature, the components or actors involved, and any scope or specification you already know applies.

Perform a SpecMCP compliance check for adding authentication to our TI-Messenger client. Scope all relevant current specs, identify the applicable requirements, and return a checklist grouped by spec with ID, severity, summary, and open questions.

Review the output

Ask for four parts:

  1. The scopes and specifications considered, and which ones you excluded.
  2. Requirements grouped by specification or certification scope.
  3. Open questions, assumptions, and referenced specs to investigate.
  4. A conclusion: ready for implementation, needs clarification, or compliance risk identified.

Treat the checklist as an engineering artifact to review with your product and compliance owners. It is not a certification result.
