How SpecMCP uses gematik data
Understand the library, current versions, drafts, and source material.
SpecMCP turns gematik's published specifications into a searchable library, spanning the Telematikinfrastruktur (TI) and the applications built on it. Each specification can have several versions. By default the tools return the version that is currently in force; ask explicitly when you want a draft or an older version.
Binding versions and drafts
Drafts are published for review and are not binding. When a tool returns one, it is labeled as a draft. Do not treat a draft as a certification requirement unless your work is specifically about an upcoming version.
What the library contains
- Specifications and their individual requirements
- Requirement severity and verification type
- Certification scopes (Steckbriefe) and their requirement lists
- Source links to the published documents
- Version history, where available
A scope's requirement list is the full set of requirements it defines for verification. A specification it references can hold further requirements that are not certification gates for that scope, so treat the two differently.
